Welcome to NovaWoolf – my space to dream and to do, and to share it all with you. Hang around and let’s figure out how to live our best damn lives and be our most authentic, fulfilled, and creative selves, together!

I was born and raised in the beautiful chaos of Johannesburg, South Africa. I’m a true Jozi girl full of contradictions, curiosities, and ideas. Part artist and part scientist, I am forever seeking balance between the practical and the poetic, the known and the mysterious, the head and the heart.

My ideal habitat includes slow – brewed coffee; excessive amounts of reading material; art supplies; a wide variety of music to get lost in; a yoga mat; or a wall to climb; and forest walks with my two Scottie dogs: Lily & Cleveland.

On my serious days my work explores themes of healing, growth, transformation, and integration. On my not-so-serious-days, I doodle whatever I feel like – llama’s, bunnies, hearts, and stars! I work with various media, from digital to ink, charcoal, and watercolour, and more recently, turning my journal pages into blog posts. My priority is figuring out how to live our best damn lives and be our most authentic, fulfilled, and creative selves.

NovaWoolf is the result of the creative, idealistic part of myself merging with the pragmatic, strategic part. It is my place to dream and to do, and to share it all with you. With the aim to positively contribute towards our changing world, NovaWoolf supports ethically-operated and local businesses to provide you with premium quality,  unique and eco- conscious designer products that you don’t have to feel guilty about!

NovaWoolf  also offers creative services, including graphic design and illustration. Check out my recent projects here.  I love doing commissioned original artworks, so please don’t hesitate to chat to me about your ideas! If you have a creative problem that needs solving, give me a shout.

My qualifications thus far include a mixed bag of 5 degrees in creative communications and psychology. I’ve worked in various fields and worn many hats as I’ve gathered skills throughout my twenties : stylist, art director, graphic designer, strategist, lecturer, and research psychologist.

Unquenchable curiosity drives everything I do. I want to know everything about everything and hope to never stop learning and growing. If you’d like to join me on this journey, subscribe here to never miss a blog post, or update.
